Who we are
PictureBox is an event photo-sharing app that lets guests take and share photos together at live events. Our service is available at picturebox.nu. For questions, contact us at support@picturebox.nu.
What we collect
- Display name — the name you enter when joining an event. It is shown alongside your photos to other guests in the same event.
- Photos — photos you choose to upload to an event gallery. They are stored on our servers and visible to other guests in the same event.
We do not collect your Apple ID, email address, device identifiers, or location data. We do not track you across apps or websites.
How we use your data
- To display your photos in the event gallery for other guests.
- To show your display name alongside the photos you upload.
- We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or profiling.
Where your data is stored
Photos and display names are stored using Supabase, a cloud storage provider. Data is stored in the EU West region. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
How long we keep your data
Photos and display names are kept for the duration of the event and a short period afterwards to allow guests to review photos. You can delete your photos and data at any time from within the app using the Delete My Data option in Settings.
Your rights
- Delete your data — open the PictureBox app, tap the info icon in the gallery, then tap Delete My Data. This removes all photos you uploaded and your display name from the event.
- Delete your account — signed-in hosts can delete their PictureBox account in the app under Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your sign-in, your email address, and the events you created; it cannot be undone. Photos you uploaded as a guest remain in their event galleries without any account attached, and can be removed separately with Delete My Data.
- Contact us — for any privacy requests, email support@picturebox.nu.
Children
PictureBox is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
